Shenzhen Environmental Protection Bureau revealed on the 29th that vehicles with “yellow” stickers will be scrapped via three phases from January 1st, 2010 to June 30th, 2011, with 50% of polluting vehicles disappearing, around 100,000. Besides, more districts will be covered for no environmentally friendly vehicles’ enterance. It is expected that vehicles with “yellow” stickers are not allowed plying in all major sections, meanwhile, the non-local vehicles are placed into the monitoring.
